On Wednesday, April 2, 2014 of Aaron Coffin, age 39, of Roseneath, devoted husband of Angela (Swan) Coffin, passed away suddenly doing what he loved.
Born December 27, 1974, he was the son of Donna MacLeod (Roy Drake) and the late Brenton Coffin.
Aaron is survived by, and will be greatly missed by his children, Alicia Bruce (Sasha Foster-Andres), Brent and Theo Coffin; brother, Derek Waltman (Colette); and sister, Carley MacLean; paternal grandmother, Helen Coffin; parents-in-law, David and Diane Swan; sister-in-law, Kim Gill (Carson); brother-in-law, Richard Swan (Kayla Coady); nieces and nephews, Maya and Ethan Waltman, John and Norah Gill; aunts and uncles, Judy MacLeod (Gerry), Barry MacLeod (Karen), Susan Shaw, Allan Coffin (Cathy), Velma Affleck (Clifford), Barry Coffin (Pat), Kevin Coffin (Sheila), Bonnie Biggar (Zdravko), Belinda (Ashif), Robbie Coffin; cousins, Peter, Nancy, Kevin, Jennifer, Stephanie, Alana, Josh, Timmy, John Allan, Juliana, Jeff, Rachel, Ryan, Becky, Kara, Kate, Robyn, Jessa, Shelby. Also remembered by Alicia's mother, Rachel Reis, and special "Twit" to Kathy and Walter Bruce. Dogs, Porter and Rosie.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by his grandfather, Junior Coffin, and grandparents, Peter and Glenda MacLeod.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting hours in the chapel Sunday, April 6, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The service in celebration of Aaron's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 3 p.m.
Donations to an education fund for Brent and Theo's education would be greatly appreciated by the family.
