Hilda Conn
Hilda Conn, of Stellarton, formerly of Sydney, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Sydney, Nov. 1, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Murray A. and Effie Katherine (Ferguson) MacCormack, Gabarus Lake, N.S.
She will be dearly missed by her loving companion and caregiver Donald Reekie; daughter Laura Lee Finlay (Al), Saskatchewan; son Murray Conn (Alanna), Sydney; five grandsons, Patrick B., Justin, Adam, Patrick J. and Zachary; great-grandson Paxton Finlay; sister Florence Hasuik, Sydney; brother Maxwell MacCormack (Arlene), Caribou Marsh Road. Hilda is also survived by sister-in-law Rita Sampson; nephew Kenneth Hasuik; nieces, Cathy Byrne and Cheryl MacKeen; grandnieces, Alexandra MacKeen, Kelsie and Shelby Byrne, and grandnephew Cole MacKeen.
She was predeceased by husband Raymond in 1992, an infant brother Murray and a number of brothers and sisters-in law.
Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will take place in Gabarus Lake at a later date.
