FIELDS, Arthur Leonard – 77, of Brooklyn, Yarmouth Co., passed away at Yarmouth Regional Hospital on April 4, 2014. Born in Colchester Co., on July 8, 1936 he was a son to the late Douglas and Jessie (Lynk) Fields. Arthur served in the military and did a tour as a member of the Black Watch. He is survived by sons, David, James, and Michael; grandsons, Nicholas, Josh, and Cory; great grandchildren, Holden, Hayden, and Alexa. Arthur is also survived by his partner, Patsy Saulnier; brothers, Lewis, James, and Gracie; sisters, Ellen Cochrane; Mary Dill; and June Randall; aunt, Dora Silver, who is in her nineties at Shanex in Kentville. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A memorial service was held Tuesday, April 8, 2014, from 4-6 p.m. at the Yarmouth Legion, 75 Veterans Lane, Yarmouth, NS. Family flowers only please.
