BREEN, CLARA - Clara Breen, loving wife of Mark A. Breen passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1926 in Saint John she was the daughter of the late J. Robert and Phyllis (Daigle) Brideau. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Margaret Fulton. Clara graduated from Rothesay Consolidated School and Mount Carmel Academy. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially canoeing. Clara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Spending time with her cherished grandchildren brought her so much joy. In addition to her loving husband of 52 years, Mark, she is survived by her son, Christopher Breen (Paula); grandchildren, Jillian and Thea; brothers, Wilfred Brideau (Iris) of Saint John and William Brideau (Shirley) of Sparwood, BC; several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Thursday, April 10 from 1 to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Ann's Catholic Church on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
