Devoted father of Shannon Racanelli (Nick), Woodbridge, ON; Shane MacLeod (Denise), Hunter River, P.E.I.; Shawn MacLeod, Stratford, P.E.I.; Stephen MacLeod, Stratford, P.E.I.; and Sheralee Hogan (Jamie), Baltmore, Maryland, U.S.A.; loving grandfather of Gia and Capri Racanelli and Charlie James Hogan. Brother of Philip MacLeod, Levack, ON; Katherine Nicholson (Cecil), Montague, P.E.I.; Elinor MacLeod, Montague, P.E.I.; brother-in-law of Ralph Moore, Montague, P.E.I.; Walter O'Brien (Sharon), Cornwall, P.E.I.; Gail O'Brien, Charlottetown, P.E.I.; Michael O'Brien (Maureen), Montague, P.E.I.; Susan O'Brien, Charlottetown, P.E.I.; Marian O'Brien, Tignish, P.E.I.; and Carl O'Brien (Brenda), Tignish, P.E.I.
Predeceased by his parents, Melville and Mary Kathryn (MacSwain) MacLeod; sister, Lynda Moore; sister-in-law, Effie MacLeod; and his parents-in-law, Ralph and Helen (Morrissey) O'Brien.
Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, where family will meet friends and acquaintances Friday, April 11, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 12, at Stratford Chapel, Hillsboro Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Interment will take place later at Our Lady of the Assumption Cemetery, Stratford.
