It is with great sadness that the family of the late Richard Samuel Winsor announce his passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility on Tuesday April 8, 2014 at the age of 80 years. Mr. Winsor was predeceased by his late wife Matilda Ann (nee Rose) of Corner Brook. He is lovingly remembered by his soulmate & best friend Ruth Squires. Fondly remembered by his children: Cathy (Byron) Peddle, Dawn (Don) Taylor, Shawn (Deborah) Winsor, Lorne (Samer) Winsor; grandchildren: Sheldon, Shayne, Shawna, Skylar, Matthew, Jonathon, Stephen, Brent; great-grandchildren: Evan, Emily, Cohen, Jason, Brianna; brother Austin Winsor, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Ernest & Gladys Winsor of Springdale; sisters: Nina Rowsell and Sylvia Winsor. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Thursday April 10, 2014 between the hours of 7-9 P.M. and at 10 A.M. on Friday April 11, 2014. The funeral service will take place at 11 A.M. at the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Wendy Lowden officiating, with interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
