It is with deep sadness and regret that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, wife and mother Debbie Seymour in the An Cala Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital on Tuesday, April 8, 2014.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of Tony and the late Shirley (Curtis) Neville.
In Debbie’s early career she worked for KPMG then in 1988 she went to work for the RCMP until 2001, and then she was with Citizenship from 2001 until 2009.
She was a devoted mother and wife and enjoyed time spent with her family. She was very quite and unassuming. She was best described as a true lady and her smile could brighten anyone’s day.
She is survived by her loving husband Willie Seymour; sons, Brett (Connie), Jeffrey (Danielle) and Justin; her father Tony Neville; brother Tony (Debbie) Neville; mother-in-law Bonnie Seymour; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Besides her mother, she was predeceased by her grandparents, Larry and Rosie Neville and Henry and Carmella Curtis, baby sister in infancy, Ann Shirley, father-in-law Bill Seymour.
Visitation will be today (Thursday, April 10) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Curry’s Funeral Home, 775 Main St., Glace Bay. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 11 at 11 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Bridgeport. The Rev. Daniel Boudreau will be officiating. Interment to follow in St. Anne’s Cemetery.
