July 27, 1954 - April 10, 2014 - Catherine passed away peacefully at the Miller Centre in St. John's. She was predeceased by her parents Cyril and Audrey (Vavasour) Banikhin. She is survived by her husband Harry and daughter Tegan; as well as siblings Diane (Ken) Dahlman, Calgary, Lawrence Banikhin, Calgary and Sandra Bruce, Ottawa. Cremation has taken place. Respecting Catherine's wishes there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Medic Alert Foundation Inc. or the Canadian Liver Foundation.
