It is with heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Daisy on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 81. She was best friend and soul mate to husband Jake for over 65 years. Dearly loved mother of Sophie, Chellis, Greta, Judy, David, Wayne, Shirley, Hazel, Brenda, Ruby, Karen, Linda, Maxine, Lloyd, Colin and their families. Grandmother of 30 and Great Grandmother of 27. Daisy was a cherished sister of Max and Ed. Special friend to Charlie and Gloria Bickford. Predeceased by Parents; Harold and Florence Parsons; brothers; Rudy, Charlie, Joe, Chellis, Cecil, Sisters; Hazel and Ethel. Visitation at Pendergast Funeral Home, Bell Island on Sunday, April 13, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial celebration of her life will be held at St. Cyprians St. Mary's on Monday, April 14, at 2:00 p.m. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Lance Cove. In lieu of flowers donations are welcome at St. Cyprians St. Mary's Church in memory of her.
