Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Thursday, April 10, 2014, holding her daughters hands, Elizabeth Rodway Best Peach of Arnold’s Cove, aged 96 years. Predeceased by first husband William Best, second husband James Peach; daughter Matilda; granddaughter Mallory; parents Fred and Matilda Rodway; brothers Clev and wife Marion and Victor Rodway; daughter-in-law Delores Best. Left with fond and loving memories her daughters Helen (Dave Hoskins) and Thelma (Ralph Williams); sons Carman Best (Hilda), Charles Best, Wifred Best (Emily), Cyril Best (Clara) and Jerry Best (Pauline); grandchildren Ivan (Judy) Best, Carmelita (Gordon Warren), Dwayne (Christine) Best, Lori (Paul Hollett), Bill (Valerie) Best, Scott (Tracy) Best, Steve (Sharon) Best, Angela (David Gale), Dorman (Beverly) Best, Dennis (Wanda) Best, Geoffrey Best, Lisa Best, Jeremy (Erin) Hoskins and Trevor (Lillian) Hoskins, Shawna Hoskins (Christopher Hobbs) and David Williams (Deidra Slade); 25 great grandchildren; half sister Linda Rodway, Clarenville; sisters-in-law Maude Rodway, Deer Lake, Mabel Masters (Jim) and Effie Slade; and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Arnold’s Cove. Funeral service took place on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at the Anglican Church, Arnold’s Cove with interment at the Interfaith Cemetery, Arnold’s Cove. In her memory donations may be made to the Anglican Church, Arnold’s Cove or the Children’s Wish Foundation.
