August 15, 1951 - April 11, 2014 - Passed suddenly away at home on April 11, 2014. James J. Devereaux, age 62 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 28 years, Cynthia Devereaux (nee Mackey); daughter Amanda (Dominique); son Kevin (Alicia); two grandchildren Makayla and James and a third grandchild that he has been anticipating the arrival of in June. Loving parents James and Vera Devereaux; brother Wayne (Cathy); sister JoAnne (Edward); sisters - in - law Gail Bussey (Len), Cathy Smith (Ches) and Rhonda Mackey; brothers - in - law Rick Mackey, Jimmy Mackey (Dawn) and Keith Greaves; aunts Marie Gilbert (Norm) and Bernice England (Douglas), as well as many special nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co - workers at Oceanex and Harveys. Special mention of his fluffy friends Maxwell and Batman whom he loved dearly. At Jim's request Cremation has taken place. Family will receive visitors at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Funeral Service from Caul's Chapel on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 11 a.m.. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Jim's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the S.P.C.A.
