Passed peacefully away on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital, Bell Island after a short illness. Predeceased by his wife Myrtle Marie (Hann) 1986 and daughter, Janet 2013. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories 5 sons, Leo, Ontario, Hubert, Carbonear, Bill (Deb), Bell Island, Paul (Tammy), Mount Pearl, Brian (Isabell), Bell Island, 4 daughters Mary Tucker (Keith), St. John's, Josephine Lewis (Ralph), Jacqueline Meadus (Fred), Joan, all of Bell Island. 20 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, brother Charlie, 3 sisters Pasty, Edna, Peggy. Also a large circle of family and friends. Special thanks to the Special Care Unit 4 North B at the H.S.C. and staff at Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital, Bell Island. Resting at Pendergast Funeral Home on Monday from 4-9p.m. and Tuesday 1-4 and 6-9p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Wednesday at 11a.m. from St. Michael Parish with cremation to follow . Flowers greatly accepted or a donation in his memory can be made to the Janeway Hospital.
