Passed away suddenly, but peacefully, on Sunday, April 13, 2014, at the Health Science Centre, David (Dave) Kielley of Forest Field, S.M.B. aged 89 years. Predeceased by parents Margaret (nee Power) & Michael Kielley, sister Annie (Bill) Butler and brothers: Thomas, Michael, Patrick (Ruth), Arthur and Allan. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, sister-in-law Francina Kielley; nieces: Karen (Doug) Didham, Michelle (Kevin) Gregory and Margaret, Patricia and Kim Kielley (Ontario), nephews Allan (Brenda) Kielley and Bill Butler and all their families; special nieces & nephews: Kelsey, Matthew, Kyle, Liam and Christopher and many other relatives and friends. We thank all the people who cared, called, visited and dropped by with the Newfoundland food he loved. A special thank you is extended to his homecare workers Gloria Drohan and Sharon Comerford. Also, a big thank you to his family doctor, Dr. Wanda Whitty, for her continued care over the years. Dave looked forward to the monthly visits and prayers from Fr. Jose. Resting at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Mount Carmel, on Tuesday, April 15, from 11am - 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16, at 9:30am.
