It is with great sadness & heavy hearts that the family of Mike Kelly announce his passing on Monday, April 14, 2014, at the age of 54. Mike was predeceased by his father Alonzo Kelly; grandparents: Albert & Ethel Cook and Ronald & Mary Kelly; special great uncle William Bowe; as well as father-in-law Weldon Lee. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Judy (Lee); two children whom he loved dearly: Justin (Emily) and Meghan (Greg); his mother Josephine; brothers: Alonzo Jr. (Elizabeth), and Ron (Margot); sister Joanne (Gus) Cook; mother-in-law Shirley Lee; brother-in-law Clinton (Diane); sisters-in-law: Jacqueline Williams (Marcel), and Lorianne Dalton (Paul); nieces & nephews: Katie, Alex, Rachael, Liam, Joshua, Kennedy, Lee, and Mariah; special friends Kevin & Janice Heffernan; as well as a large circle of uncles, aunts, cousins and close friends. Mike was a very gentle and caring man who loved hunting, fishing and nature in general. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Wednesday, April 16th, from 12:00pm-9:00pm. Memorial service will be from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Goulds, on Thursday , April 17th, at 2:00pm.
