VINCE KEATING
Words cannot express our deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support for our family during our time of loss. A sincere thank you to all of our relatives, neighbours and friends who visited, telephoned, brought food, and sent online condolences, mass and sympathy cards, flowers, monetary gifts and donations made in Vince’s honour. Your generosity and thoughtfulness helped us to cope more than you know. To those who attended the wake, funeral mass and reception, your presence meant so much to us. A special thank you to Fr Norman McPhee, Fr Paul Abbass, and Fr Jake Andrea for your words of great comfort during the service. Thank you to Our Lady of Fatima Parish, the CWL and Lazarus committee for hosting the celebration of Vince’s life and the beautiful reception afterward, which allowed us to spend very meaningful time with those who were close to Vince. A sincere thank you to Steve Fenton, Frances Keating, Rick and Danielle Carabin for the beautiful readings, and to Vince’s friends Eric Angus Whyte, Chelsea Nisbett and Lena Murphy for their touching musical selections, as well as family friends Marilyn MacKinnon, Debbie Levangie, Patsy Murgatroyd and Ronnie Martin for lending their lovely voices. Vince was surely smiling down on his close friends accompanying him so handsomely Corey and Tyler Reginato, James Armsworthy, Matt MacVicar, Dave Witzell, and Jonathan Gallant, as well as ushers Andrew Tobin, Pat Campbell, Neil MacSween and Adam Hanna. To Bill, Julie and the staff at Curry’s Funeral Home, thank you for your professional service and compassion before, during and after the funeral. Finally, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to Vince’s many friends - from childhood to his colleagues at work and those who travelled great distances to be with our family. Thank you for sharing your stories and fond memories of Vince; it is so special to see what a friend he was to each of you and how he touched so many lives. We will treasure these memories always. Vince was indeed blessed to have such incredible people in his life and we are truly honoured to know each and every one of you. Your kindness and thoughtfulness will always be remembered.
