Troy Gillet

GILLET, TROY ALAN - It is with profound sadness that the family of Troy Gillet announces his unexpected passing on Monday, April 14, 2014. Born in Saint John, NB., he was the son of David and the late Carole (Shannon) Gillet and loving husband to Robin Moore. Troy was an Industrial Mechanic by trade working at Promens in the industrial park with Unifor local 6912 for almost a decade and a half. If it was made of metal, Troy could build it or fix it. He loved the outdoors, especially if it involved an ATV or a “Sled”. And Robin was his best “navigator” on many of these adventures. His passion for dirt and speed began in his younger days and his “No Fear” attitude has been passed on to his pride and joy, son Taner. Taner was the love of Troy’s life. He was so proud to be a father. Troy will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by those who knew and loved him. In addition to his father David and wife Robin, he is survived by his precious son Taner; brother Kevin (Tammy); sisters “DeeDee” (Joey) Muise, Bloomfield, NB and “Bonny” (Andrew) Chiasson, Havelock, NB and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Troy was predeceased by his mother Carole.
