WALL, LEONARD STEWART “BUSTER” - The passing of Leonard Stewart “Buster” Wall of Taymouth, NB, husband of Greta Jean Wall (Bell), occurred on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at home. Born on December 9, 1919 in Tay Valley, NB, he was the son of the late Thomas and Christina (Stewart) Wall. Stewart was an automotive mechanic with Union Motors and was a member of Taymouth United Church. He loved farming, woods working and socializing. Stewart is survived by his wife of 75 years, Greta; daughter, Wendy (Fred Holland) of Richibucto Road, NB; sons, Dale Wall (Diane) of Stanley, NB, Russell Wall (Ethel) of Taymouth, NB; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; special sister, Thelma Fairley of Taymouth, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Carrol Canney; son, Gordon Wall; grandson, Timothy Canney; sister, Violet Tucker; brothers, Darrell and Thomas Wall Jr.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, April 20 , 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Taymouth United Church on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 2 pm with Rev. Yvette Swan officiating. Interment will take place in Taymouth Community Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Taymouth Community Cemetery, CNIB, Muscular Dystrophy or the charity of the donor’s choice.
