Eileen Graham

PICTOU/SCOTSBURN – Margaret Eileen Graham, 93, of Pictou, and formerly of Scotsburn, passed away April 17, 2014 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born October 7, 1920 in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Vera (Scott) Muir.
She was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church, Scotsburn, and a longtime member of the church choir, the Ladies Aid and the Grace A.M.S. Eileen was also a member of Bethel Rebekah Lodge, No. 96, Scotsburn.
She is survived by her children: David Graham, Westville; Judy (Eric) Button, Gander, Newfoundland; Donald (Nina) Graham, Kingston, Ontario; Cathy (Lennie) Thompson, Moncton, New Brunswick; grandchildren: Mark (Jennifer) Button, Allen (Tracey) Graham, Brian (Kate) Graham, Tara Younker, Joshua Thompson, Jacqueline Thompson; great-grandchildren: Emily, Jillian, Nicholas, Maria, Hayley, Brendan, Ethan and Owen; nieces and nephews, Jim, Lynn, Ron and Gary.
Eileen was predeceased by her husband, Elwood; grandson, Ian Button; brothers, Norman and Gordon Muir; daughter-in-law, Heather Graham; nephew, Robert Muir.
Visitation will be held 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Funeral will take place 11 a.m. Monday from Bethel Presbyterian Church, Scotsburn, with Rev. Lara Scholey officiating. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.
Family flowers only please. Donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society.
