Evelyn Lorena Leonard, 93 formerly Stellarton and Lower North Street, Westville passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2014 in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow.

Born in Westville on July 24, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Bryson) Leonard.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Stellarton and a member of the MacLellan Fraser Unit. She worked at Goodman Company for several years and later at Sobeys Head office until her retirement.

Evelyn is survived by nephews and niece, John Hayman (Elizabeth), Westville; Alfred Hayman (Diane) , Westville; Allison Taylor (Marilyn), Stellarton; David Leonard (Barbara), Gary Leonard and Mary Ann Leonard, all of Trail, B.C.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Carrigan,, Margaret Taylor, Jenny Hayman, and Elda Johnson, brother, Harry Leonard and infant sister, Elizabeth.

Evelyn is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Saturday from 1-1:45 followed by her funeral service at 2 o’clock from Eagles Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Charles McPherson officiating. Burial will be in the Auburn Cemetery. www.eaglesfuneralhome.ca
