GOODIN, JOSEPH "NORBERT" - The death of Norbert Goodin occurred on Thursday, April 17, 2014, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Tracadie on January 3, 1944, he was the son of the late Oliver and Doris (Ferguson) Goodin. Norbert taught school in St. Stephen for 33 years until his retirement in 1999. An avid golfer and true family man, he is survived by his wife Joan (Hersey) of Miramichi; son, Chris (Paula) of St. Stephen; brother, Ray (Cathy) of Saint John; sisters, Florence and Claudette, both of Saint John and Viola McCallum of St. Stephen; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Frank.
Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at 12:00 Noon. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
