ORSER, OWEN - Owen Blake Orser of Hartland passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Owen was born December 10, 1924 and was the son of the late Ercell and Jenny (Long) Orser. He was also predeceased by his wife, Audrey (Nixon) Orser, a grandson, Joshua Orser and a sister, Laura Hallett. Owen is survived by his children, Judith (Stuart) Oulton of Tatamagouche, NS, Patricia Orser of Fredericton, NB, Kathryn (Freeman) Perry of Quispamsis, NB, Roger (Maureen) Orser of Castlegar, BC, Kevin (Cathy) Orser of Perth, ON; grandchildren, Julie (Gordon) Gathercole, Kelly Dickinson, Lori (Andrew) Wheelan, Jason (Joceyln Barry) Perry, Jeffrey (Ashley Taylor) Perry, Jerrad (Brooke) Orser, Sassha Orser, Lauren Orser, David Orser ; great grandchildren, Connor, William and Kaleb; brother-in-law, Dalton Hallett; special neighbors and friends, Michelle and Blaine Lawrence.
Resting at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland with visiting hours on Monday 5 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel with Doug Cook officiating.
