BASTARACHE, PAUL - 1939 – 2014 Paul Bastarache, 74 of Villa Providence Inc. Shediac and formerly of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully at the Villa on Friday April 18th, 2014. He was married to the late Sarah Elizabeth Fraser. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Arthur and the late Florine (Allain) Bastarache. He was a Drywaller by trade and an avid hunter. He will be sadly missed by his two daughters; Janet Palumbo of Bouctouche and Sally Anne Murphy of Fort Worth, TX, four grandchildren; Spencer, Eliza Jane, Leanne and Sarah. He also leaves to mourn two sisters; Annabelle Richard (Charlie) and Imelda LeBlanc (Raoul) of Moncton and two brothers; Normand (Janet) of Georgia and Gerald of Bouctouche and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by one brother Sylvain.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Thursday, April 24th, 2014 from 7 to 9 and on Friday from 9:30 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Friday, April 25th, at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery. In Paul’s memory donations may be made to the Villa Providence Inc. Shediac.
