BOUCHER, ANNA - Anna Boucher, 97, of Villa du Repos, and formerly of Cedar Street, Moncton, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014 at the Villa following a lengthy illness. Born August 15, 1916 in St-Paul-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Dosithé and Rosanne (Thibodeau) Gaudet. The last surviving member of her imediate family Anna was the beloved widow of the late Willie Boucher (2013) the loving mother of 10 children: Marie Leger (Alfred), Valmont (Suzanne), Ronald (Cindy), Terry (Jean-Paul) and Clarence (Diane), all of Moncton, Alyre (late Yvonne) of Bouctouche, Dorina Cormier of Sudbury, MA, Camille of Waltham, MA, Alvin of Perry Sound, ON; pépère of 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Willie she was predeceased by one son, Gérard (Anne-Marie); three sisters, Lina, Elvine and Yvonne: two brothers: Camille and Dosithé.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Tuesday from 7 to 9pm and Wednesday from 9:30 am until time of departure (10:40) The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Roman Catholic Church, 854 Mountain Road, Moncton, on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in St-Paul-de-Kent parish cemetery. In memory of Anna, a contribution to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation, the St-Paul-de-Kent parish or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
