GAUDET, RHÉAL - 1935 - 2014 - Rhéal Gaudet, 78, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2014, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB. Born in Dieppe, NB, he was the son of the late Aurèle and the late Ida (née: Gosselin) Gaudet. Mr. Gaudet was a dedicated firefighter for the City of Dieppe and a member of Ste-Thérèse parish. He is survived by his wife, Marie-Reine (née: Robichaud); one daughter, Lyette Gaudet of Kingston, ON; one son, Jacques (Lucie Bérubé) of Blainville, QC; two sisters: Germaine (Roger) Cormier of Dieppe and Josette (Laurie) Landry of Moncton; two brothers: Ubald (Jeanne) and Jean-Eudes (Claudia) both of Dieppe; one brother-in-law, Léo LeBlanc of Dieppe; four grandchildren: Chelsy, Alexander, Jessica and Mylène, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Patricia.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901), on Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm ONLY. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, on Saturday, April 26th, 2014 at 11 am. Interment in the Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe, NB.
