LeMoine, Marjorie (Marnie) Hazel
Age 91 of Amherst, formerly of Halifax died April 22, 2014 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre following a brief illness. Born in Sackville, NB she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Hoare) Lawrence.
Sixty years of her married life were spent in the Westmount subdivision of Halifax where she enjoyed many games of bridge. Summers at Amherst Shore included lobster boils, archery, tennis and boating. Marnie was an expert seamstress making most of her children’s clothes in their early years. She excelled at any sport she tried. She will be remembered for the many kindnesses she showed others and her beautiful smile.
Survived by sons Robert (Heather) Amherst, children Sean and Mark; Paul (Petronill ``Punch``) Beaumont, AB, children Renée and Andrew; daughter Vicki (Blake) Daley Amherst, children Seth and Sara; four great grandchildren, Aidan, Sierra, Teagan and Corbyn. She is also survived by sisters Mabel (Gordon) Mouland, Doris ``Dooie`` (Charles) MacAllister, sister in law Helen Lawrence and many nieces and nephews.
Marnie was predeceased by husband Robert E. E. (Ted) LeMoine, brother Robert (Bobby) Lawrence, sisters Ethel (Betty) E. Lawrence, and Dorothy (Dot) Ritchie, Brother-in-laws John LeMoine and Manson Ritchie, sister-in-law, Catherine (Kay) LeMoine, nephews Michael and Robert Lawrence.

Join Marnie’s family for a “Celebration of her Life” and reception between the hours of 1 and 3 pm, Monday, April 28th at Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst (667-9906). Interment will be at a later date.
