MUISE, Leona Alice – 76, Summerville, Yarmouth Co., formerly of Rockville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 26, 2014 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born January 27, 1938 in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late Ervin and Hilda (Saulnier) Boudreau. Leona worked at the Rodd Grand Hotel in Yarmouth for twenty years, and although she had many interests, including bowling, taking care of her family brought the most joy to her life. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She is survived by her four children, Randy (Diane) Muise, Yarmouth; Donna Muise, Yarmouth; Blair Stevens (Nathania Rogers), Rockville; Shawn Johnson, Summerville, as well as by grandchildren, Josephina “Josie” Stevens, Travis Ross, Bryan Muise and Corey Comeau and great grandchildren, Michanda Romard, Joshtyn Romard, Cameron Forbes, Gabriel Claremont, Holden Comeau and Hayden Comeau. Also surviving are her siblings, Julia (Gerald) Deveau, Yarmouth; Robert (Alice) Boudreau, Melbourne and Rosemarie (Maurice) Boudreau, Wedgeport. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Percy J. Muise and a sister, Verna Boudreau. There was no visitation by request. The funeral mass was held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 30 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Melbourne, Father Pat O’Meara officiated. Interment followed in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements were entrusted to H. M.
