HACHEY, NORVEL - 1921 - 2014 - At the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Thursday, May 1st, 2014 at the age of 92, has passed away Mr. Norvel Hachey of Atholville, husband of the late Rose Alice Hachey. He was the son of the late Lawrence Hachey and the late Agnes Jane "Memory" (Leboeuf). He will be sadly missed by his children: Michelle (Michel Garneau) of PEI, Suzanne (Larry Lunney) of Salisbury, William "Billy" (Alice Deschenes) of Campbellton, Tim (Joanne Belanger) of Petit-Rocher and Paul (Jel Fernandez) of Clairmont, Alberta; his grandchildren: William, Karen, Vicki, Angie, Ghislain, Vincent, Martin and Sophia Rose; his great grandchildren; Kennedy, Kayleigh, Allie, Danika, Mackenzie, Aliyah, Briden and Renelle and by many members of the Gallant’s family, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Rose Alice, his parents and many brothers and sisters. Mr. Hachey was a WW II veteran. A legion service will be held Sunday evening May 4th, 2014 at 7:30 pm at the funeral home.
The funeral mass will be held on Monday, May 5th, 2014 at 4 pm in the Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Atholville. Visitations for Mr. Hachey will be held at Savoie Funeral Home, Campbellton on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm, also on Monday from 2 pm till time of funeral.
