BAILLIE, Margaret Geraldine “Marge” (Shaw) -82, of Toronto, passed away May 1, 2014 in the St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Toronto. Born in Pictou, she was a daughter of the late Gerald & Vera (Zinck) Shaw. Marge and her husband, Kenny moved to Toronto as a young couple and made their life there, living and working for many years. She always loved to get home for visits with family and friends in River John. In her later years she enjoyed travel and activities with her seniors group and was well known for her love of knitting. Surviving are her son, David (Stasie), and daughter, Paula, both of Ontario; brothers, Rollie (Judy) MacDonald, Leonard (Judy) MacDonald, Greg (Barb) MacDonald and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Kenneth she was predeceased by her brother, David Shaw and sister, Norma Patriquin. Visitation will be held 7-9 PM today (Monday) in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Funeral will take place 3:00 PM Tuesday from Salem United Church, River John, with Rev. Christine Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Mountain Road Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
