PARTRIDGE, SHAWN JASON - It is with great sadness, the family of Shawn Jason Partridge announce his unexpected passing at the Saint John General Hospital May 6, 2014. Born in Fredericton in 1975, he was the son of Kathy Macaulay of Barkers Point and Barry Partridge of Kingston, Ont. Shawn was a tattoo artist until he could no longer see to work at his art. He loved the water and spent many hours fishing. His real love was his family including his grandchildren. One of his greatest times was traveling across Canada tattooing with his friends. He is survived by his parents, brothers Jeremy Macaulay (Chelsea) and Michael Bell (Tracy) of Fredericton and Richard Partridge of Ontario, one sister Natasha Robertson (Ryan) of Ontario. a son Alex Partridge of Fredericton and a daughter, Tiara Sabattis of Geary, two grandchildren, Tyson and Alexis Sabattis of Geary, NB, grandmother, Norma Kelly of Maugerville, aunts, Patricia Whelan (Roger) of Hartland, Barbara King (Brian), Janet DelFrate (Mike) of Fredericton, uncles: Burt Kelly (Janice) Quispamsis, Rick Kelly, (Lisa) of Island View, Danny Kelly of Lisle Ont., Tim Kelly of Gatineau, Que. Owen Partridge, John Partridge Ontario, special friend: Jeri-Anne Doiron, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his step-father Barry Macaulay.
The family will receive friends at Bishops Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton on Friday evening from 7 to 9 pm to share stories and memories. A celebration of Shawn’s life will be held at Bishops Funeral Home on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 11 am. Burial at the Maugerville Baptist Cemetery at a later date. Donations to Portage Atlantic, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the memorial of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
