SCOTT, Carole Jean, 74, of Barrington Passage, passed away Thursday May 8, 2014 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital, Yarmouth. She was born December 11, 1939 and was the daughter of the late George and Gertrude (Gosling) Hamilton. Carole was an outdoors enthusiast that loved camping. She enjoyed playing washers and reading. She was an active member of the Red Hat Society. She is survived by her children, Jim (Kate) Newell; Wendy (Jacob Smith) Atwood; Susan (Russell Morris) Stoddard; brother, John Hamilton, Yarmouth; grandchildren, Jeremy, Tyler, Brandon, Justin; great-grandchildren, Madison, Theoren; and nephew, Robert. Aside from her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, Clyde and George. An informal memorial service to celebrate Carole’s life was held on Monday, May 12 from the Clyde River Cottages and Camp-grounds, Clyde River, Pastor. Cindy Dunnett officiating.
