MUNN, JEAN MARIAN - “When we truly love, it is never lost. It is only after death that the depth of the bond is truly felt, and our loved one becomes more a part of us than was possible in life”. Our Mom, our angel has gone to heaven. Jean Marian Munn, born on February 8, 1922 at Mother’s Hospital in Clapton, England, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2014 in Fredericton, NB. Jean was the daughter of the late James and Hilda (Simmonds) Garrett. Mom grew up in Haywards Heath, Sussex County, England and met our father, a Canadian soldier, the late George E. K. Munn and married at St. Wilfred’s Church. She became a War Bride when she traveled to Canada on the Queen Mary and landed at Pier 21 in Halifax. Mom was a homemaker and dedicated her life proudly raising her three children in Nashwaaksis. Mom always loved cats and had many precious pets, leaving behind Missy. Mom had ten great grandchildren, Chris, Whitney, Braelyn, Jenna, Breanne, Thane Tyler, Madelynn, Olyvia, Grace and Colton; two great great grandchildren, Morgan and Marley.
