MILLER, HARRY JOSEPH - It is with great sadness that the family of Harry Joseph Miller announce his passing at the Oromocto Hospital on 18 May 2014, at the age of 78. Harry was born in Windsor, Newfoundland on March 1st, 1936 to the late Francis and Elizabeth (Higdon) Miller. During his lifetime, Harry proudly served with the Canadian Forces for over 30 years. He was a member of the Corps of Commissionaires, a school bus driver for District 17 in Oromocto, and a local business owner from 1977 - 88. He was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 93, Oromocto, NB.
As requested, there will be no visitation. The family will celebrate a memorial mass at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Thursday, 22 May 2014 at 11:00 am, with Father Ken Weir as celebrant. Interment will be held in Grand Falls - Windsor, Newfoundland at a later date. Donations in memory of Harry can be made to the donor’s favourite charity.
