Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles-Escasoni Complex on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, Ruby Pennell age 88 years. Predeceased by her husband Wallace (1981), and her parents Ralph and Beatrice Russell. Leaving to mourn with fond memories are her sons: David (Sheila), and Robert (Karen); grandchildren: Alexandra, Stephen, Amy and Colin; sisters: Wilhelmine, Dorothy, and Ethel; and her brother, Jack. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place from Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Wednesday, May 21, and Thursday, May 22, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held from Barrett's Funeral Chapel on Friday, May 23, at 2:00pm, with a private family interment to follow. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted.
