PHILLIPS, Myrtle Evelyn – 93, of Yarmouth, passed away on May 17, 2014 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Mabel (Andrews) Griswold. Those who knew Myrtle will remember her by her lively sense of humor and her fun loving approach to life. Myrtle is survived by her children, Douglas Trefry, Bridgetown; Roberta Spencer, Middleton; Susan (George) Muise, Tusket; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Murray Phillips; daughter, Marilyn Crocker; sister, Madge Carmichael. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. By request of the family, there was no visitation or funeral service. An interment will be held at a later date.
