PRICE, JOHN ROBERT - J. Robert Price of Canterbury, NB passed away May 20, 2014 at Upper River Valley Hospital. Robert was born at Woodstock, NB in 1928, a son of the late Henry and Gladys (Colpitts) Price. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Anglican Church and the Woodstock Masonic Lodge #11. Robert was a member of the local District School Board for over 30 years and he served as treasurer of the Canterbury Cemetery for over 50 years. Robert sang with the Woodstock Barbershop Singers and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Mary (McCloskey) Price; four daughters, Karen Murray (Fraser), Flatlands, NB, Jane Foster (Greg), North Lake, NB, Beth Price-Grant (Carter), Nackawic, NB and Pamela Hudson (Chris), North Lake, NB; two grandsons, Jamie Robichaud (Sherri), Mazerolle Settlement, NB and Andrew Robichaud (Suzie), Toronto, ON; five granddaughters, Emily Grant, Nackawic, NB, Susan Galley (Cleland), Campobello Island, NB, Angela Kelly (Mike), Ottawa, ON, Amy Foster (Christian Crete), Montreal, Quebec and Grayson Gould, North Lake, NB; three great-grandsons, Tyson Robichaud, Dax Robichaud and Leland Galley; one great-granddaughter, Abigail Kelly; one sister, Mary Depow, Fredericton, NB; five step-daughters, Catherine Parker, Beverly Whiteway, Debra Daye, Martha Frenette and Jennifer Cox; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Constance Price.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service will be held from the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Canterbury, NB on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 3 pm with Rev. Tom Crowther and Deacon Christine Greer officiating. Interment at the Canterbury Cemetery.
