Sept 19, 1924 - May 25, 2014: Passed peacefully away in the presence of his family at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital in his 90th year, N. Claude Stoodley of Aquaforte, formerly Jersey Harbour, Fortune Bay. Predeceased by his first wife Gertie (Spencer) - 1953, infant son Roy, second wife, Grace (Windsor) 2006, Father and Mother, George and Emma Stoodley, brothers: Allan & Ruben, sisters: Jean Bungay and Pearl Hunt. Leaving to mourn son: Doug (Shirley), daughters: Norma (Angus Vallis), Glenda (Herb Goodridge), Amelia (John Kavanagh), 10 Grand-Children: Lyndon (Doreen), & Elaine Vallis, Scott (Sherry), Karen and Claudine Goodridge (Gerard Green), Karl (Erin) and Andrew (Renee) Stoodley, Kristopher (Krista), Matthew (Holly), and Peter (Kristen) Kavanagh. 6 Great-grandchildren: Hayley & Olivia Goodridge, Ashton & Drew Stoodley, Karter and Kobe Kavanagh, sisters: Doris Smith, Bertha Stoodley, brother: William (Bud) & Ada Stoodley, brother-in-law: Bruce Windsor (Helen), sister-in-law: Anna Windsor, special friend: Edna Breen and family, good friends and neighbours Ron & Sharon Coady and Bernice Jordan. Residents and staff at Alderwood Estates, Witless Bay, and a large circle of extended family & friends. Resting at Fahey's Funeral Home, Fermeuse on Tuesday, May 27th from 3 - 9, Wednesday, May 28th 2 - 9, Funeral Service of Thursday, May 29th 11 am from Fahey's Funeral Home.
