It is with great sadness that the family of the late Valerie Retieffe announce her passing after a courageous battle, at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Sunday, May 25th, 2014 at the age of 61 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is her husband George, son D’Arcy (Jillian) Retieffe in Lourdes, daughters, Robyn (Guy) Styles in Cold Brook, Kyla (Glen) LaCosta in Lourdes, parents Allan & Theresa LeCoure in Lourdes, three brothers: Allan Jr. (Rebecca) LeCoure, Calvin (Sharon) LeCoure in Lourdes, Greg LeCoure in Aguathuna, four sisters: Barbara Retieffe, Jeanette (Edward) Hinks, Mona (Jack) Abbott, Marian (Stephen) Moraze all in Lourdes, grandchildren, Morgan, Liam, Nicholas and a large circle of relatives and friends. Friends may call at Our lady of Lourdes Parish Church on Monday, May 26th from 7-9 PM and Tuesday, May 27th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday May 28th, at 2 pm from Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Church with interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Westbay.
