COURSER, LLOYD GEORGE - Husband, father, friend. Lloyd passed away at home May 24, 2014 after a long period of failing health. He was born in Kingsclear on March 25, 1938 to the late George and Gertrude (Gray) Courser. Lloyd spent most of his life in Ontario working for Ontario Hydro and then with Barrie Hydro as a linesman, then as foreman for the same, retiring in 1999. No one was a stranger to Lloyd. He loved talking with people about any subject. Lloyd is survived by his wife Anne; son Kevin; daughter Amy (Dallis Favret). Also surviving is his sister Darlene Kearney; nieces, nephews, cousins and two aunts. Besides his parents, Lloyd was predeceased by brothers Edward, John and Robert; and by brother-in-law Richard Kearney.
At Lloyd’s request there will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place. Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road (458-1885) has been entrusted with the arrangements. www.bishopsfuneralhome.com
