Amherst, N.S.- It is with sadness, that the family of Karen Wendy Milner, announce her passing on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Center in Amherst. Karen was 54 years of age.
Born on February 8, 1960 in Sackville, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Harold Winslow and Eileen Mae Milner.
Karen will always be remembered by her family and friends for her good heart and kind, caring ways.
Karen will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Gary Milner; her five sisters, Debbie Ward, Donna (Leland) Estabrooks, Diane (Harold) Wilson, Sandie (Victor) Landry and Cathy (Danny Richard); her special niece, Megan Milner and by several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by her brother, Jeff Milner in 1987.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). In keeping with Karen’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visiting hours. A memorial service for family and close friends will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Karen may be made to the New Brunswick or Nova Scotia Lung Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of one’s choice.
