It is with great sadness that the families of Piercey (Bud) Henry Loder announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Wednesday, May 28th, 2014, at the age of 76 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: his wife, Mary (nee Sparkes); his children: Cindy (Graham) Norman, Wavey Ellsworth (John Walsh), Darren Loder (Agnes Marcysiaik) and Twyla (Mike) Lamb; his eight grandchildren: Shannon and Shea Norman; Bradley, Brittany, Breanna and Brandon Ellsworth; Christopher and Gregory Loder; his great-grandchildren: Kali Norman and Brayden Ellsworth; his siblings: Mitzi (Carlton) Wetherell, Yvonne (Troy) Henson, Shirley (Carroll) Harper, Delphine (Tom) Cunningham, Donald (Linda) Loder, Myrtle (Tom) Larkin, Winnie (Dan) Ellsworth, Robert (Eileen) Loder, Ruby McConnell, Gordon (Dorcas) Loder, Allen (Colleen) Loder, Sandra (Paul) Fraser and Linda (Garfield) Fillier. He also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other ­relatives, extended family and friends. Bud was predeceased by his parents, Arthur & Olive Loder and his brother-in- law, Gerard McConnell. The family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL on Saturday, May 31st, 2014 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and continuing on Sunday, June 1st, 2014 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service of Remembrance will take place on Monday, June 2nd 2014 at 10 a.m. at The Emmanuel Pentecostal Church on Bennett Ave., Deer Lake, NL with Pastor Peter Grimes officiating. Burial to follow at the Pentecostal Church section of Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery on Wight's Road, Deer Lake, NL. Flowers and/or donations can be made in Bud's memory to the Gideon Bible and would be gratefully appreciated by the ­families.
