James Tapp

TAPP, JAMES - James Ernest Tapp of Fredericton Junction, NB passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, May 31, 2014. Ernie, as he was affectingly known, was born in Patterson Settlement on December 13, 1938 to the late Lillian Fern (Lunnin) and the late Joseph Tapp. Husband to his late wife Maggie (Russell), (2005) she was the love of his life for 39 years. Ernie was a Carpenter most of his working life. He loved his music, he and his buddy Gene would play at every opportunity. He was a familiar site in local parades; Ernie would be playing his guitar on the back of Leah’s little truck. Ernie is survived by his two sons: Kent and Joseph, two grandchildren: Amanda Tapp and Kyle Arsenault, daughter-in-law, Patricia Tapp, Sister Leah Currier, brothers: John Tapp and Abram (Amie) Tapp, several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister, Ruth Bissonette and Brother Joseph Tapp.
At Ernie’s request there will be no visitation or funeral. You may express your sympathy by making a donation to the Fredericton Junction Fire Department, Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
