At Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge on Sunday, June 1, 2014 of Charlie MacIsaac, formerly of Earnscliffe, age 85 years.
Beloved husband of the late Rita MacIsaac (nee Ryan), loving twin brother of Alex MacIsaac, and brother of Cyril MacIsaac (Roberta), Mary Sullivan (Tom - deceased) and Martha McIsaac (George-deceased). Charlie is also survived by foster sons, Bernely MacDonald and Jamie Baldwin; sister-in-law, Mary MacIsaac; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents - Daniel and Mary MacIsaac; sisters - Sr. Anita MacIsaac CND, and Eunice Hughes (Ray - deceased) and brother - Leo McIsaac.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Tuesday, June 3, 6-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 4, at St. Joachim's Church, Vernon River, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
St. Joachim's Knights of Colombus will hold a prayer service at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 5:30 p.m.
