HUGHES, WAYNE FREDERICK - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wayne F. Hughes of Lincoln, NB, on Monday, June 2, 2014 at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital, surrounded by his family. Born in Fredericton, on December 1, 1964, he is a son of Phyllis (Patterson) Hughes and the late James Frederick Hughes. Wayne is survived by his wife Wendy (Profit); children Shelby and Shane; brothers Stephen (Stacey), Kevin (Anne); nieces and nephews Reese, Jeremy, Matt, Robbie, and Amanda; an uncle Al Cogswell.
The family will receive visitors at Bishops Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road on Friday, June 6, 2014 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM followed by a funeral service at Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 PM with Rev. Doug Hapeman officiating. Interment will be in the Lower Lincoln Cemetery. At the family’s request, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
