It is with heartfelt sadness that we the family announce the passing of our sister Alma on June 1, 2014, at home with loving sisters at her side.
Born in Glace Bay she was the daughter of the late William and Hilda King.
For a number of years Alma was employed as a manager of Great West Life Assurance Group Benefits.
Alma is survived by sisters, Willena and Delores; brother-in-law William MacKenzie; nephew Darryl MacKenzie, California; niece Heather (Barry) Bishop, Alberta.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Lorraine MacKenzie.
With following Alma’s wishes there will be no visitation and a private family service, under the care and direction of Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union St., Glace Bay.
Donations can be made to the Salvation Army in Alma’s memory.
