Wesley Cameron

MT. THOM – Wesley Alexander Cameron, age 73, of Mt. Thom, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Mt. Thom, he is a son of Jeanette “Nettie” (Tattrie) Cameron and the late Chester Cameron.
Wesley was a truck driver for all of his life, working for various construction companies. Although, a very quiet person, who enjoyed working around his home, he was always willing to help out others in any way. He was everyone’s friend.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Eleanor (Worth); daughter Joanne Miller (Tim Collie), Munro Ave. Ext.; two grandchildren, Jamie (Leah) Miller, New Glasgow; Amanda Miller, Blue Mtn.; great-grandson Brandon; brothers: Chester “Chettie” (Marsha), Alvin (Glenda), Blair (Edith), Keith (Linda), all of Mt. Thom; sister, Loudell Steadman (Tony), Sask.; brother-in-law Allister Silver, Mt. Thom; many nieces and nephews; and best friend his dog, Teddy.
He was predeceased by his sister, Ruth Ann Silver.
Wesley is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting today, Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. His funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 5 from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Rev. Barb Fotheringham officiating. Cremation to follow.
