Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the A. M. Guy Memorial Health Centre, Buchans, on Thursday, June 4th, 2014, Madeline Scott, age 81. Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Margaret (Vokey) Kennedy, brother, Patrick Kennedy, son-in-law, Gerald Day. Left to mourn with loving memories are her husband of 62 years, William Scott, children Peggy Day of Thompson, Manitoba; Joanne Scott of St. John's, Charmaine Scott of St. John's, Cheryl (Boyd) Riggs of Carbonear, William Scott Jr. (Andrea Lee) of Greenwood, Nova Scotia; Stephen Scott (Melanie) of St. John's, grandchildren Shanne and Scotty Day, Scott and Heather Bourden, Laura and David Riggs, Ashley and Stephanie Scott, Will and Ella Scott, great-grandchild Claire Bourden, siblings Geraldine Zunke of Toronto, Ontario; Linda Kennedy of Holyrood, Joseph Kennedy of Calgary, Alberta and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, Buchans on Thursday, June 5th and Friday, June 6th. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, June 7th at 2:00 P.M. at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Buchans Community Cemetery.
