Fabrice Gevaudan

GÉVAUDAN, FABRICE GEORGES - 1969 - 2014 - Fabrice died tragically in the line of duty as an RCMP Officer on Wednesday evening of June 4th, 2014. However, he lived his life entirely in the most joyful and positive manner. He married Angela, his “Twin Flame”, and became the proud and loving Step Father to Emma, whom he adored. He expressed himself largely through his physical being; he was a trained Diver, a Runner and, of course, in his duties as a Law Enforcement Officer. He abhorred domestic violence and was an advocate of “women’s rights”, in short, he admired strong, confident women. He was an orderly individual at work and at home; he believed in processes and the necessity of organization. While he often experienced the less admirable side of life in his work, he remained optimistic and possessed a quick and robust sense of humour. He loved his family, community, his job and life itself. He did everything with a zest and vitality and he never took on anything he could not finish. While he died protecting the lives of the individuals in his community, his spirit tells us he died as he lived - a happy man. Though he will be greatly missed by all who knew him, it is now time to celebrate his life and the contribution he made to the world. In addition to his wife, Angela and step daughter, Emma of Dieppe, he is survived by his mother, Laurence Gevaudan; his Father, Jacques Gevaudan; his brother Marc-Christophe and his sister, Aude-Emmanuelle, all of Boulogne-Billancourt, a suburb of Paris, France.
