McCLURE, LEORA - It is with great sadness that the family of Leora Ethel McClure announces her death at the Orchard View Long Term Care Nursing Home on June 8th, 2014. Leora was born on January 25, 1933 in St. Stephen, NB to the late Frederick and Harriet Woodard. Leora was a passionate mother, baker and knitter. Christmas was always a treat for her family and friends as they often received baked treats from the McClure household. Leora will be sadly missed by her children, Kenneth, Frederick, Debra, and Donald; her brother, George; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Tammy, and a brother, Ralph.
Visitation for Leora will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Friday, June 13th, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, June 14th, 2014 at 2:00 pm with Canon John Sharpe officiating.
