CORMIER, HÉLÈNE - 1932 - 2014 - It is with sad and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, sister and beloved friend, Hélène Cormier. Hélène was born in Malakoff, NB on August 17th, 1932, daughter of the late Ernest and the late Edna (née: Dupuis) Melanson. She was saved by the grace of God on February 8th, 1984 and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 8th, 2014. She was a faithful Christian in the assembly gathered unto the name of the Lord Jesus-Christ in Shediac, NB. (Salle de l’Evangile). She is survived by her children: Normand (Denise Noël), Louise Losier (Amand), Lucille Cormier and Bernice LeBlanc (Denis), all of Malakoff; one daughter-in-law, Janice Landry (Victor) of Caissie Cape; a special nephew, Danny Melanson (Marie) of Malakoff and his children: Monique and André; two sisters: Maria Caissie (late Clovis) of Moncton, Corinne LeBlanc (late Adélard) of Dieppe and 14 grandchildren: Adèle, Natalie, Justin, Isabelle, Jacques, Yves, Gabrielle, Joël, Janelle, Janie, Abel, Matthieu, Rachel and Sylvie as well as other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 49 years, Camille Cormier in 2008; one son, Jean-Guy Cormier in 2000; one grandson, Kevin Cormier in 2003; five brothers: Henry, Fred, Aquilla, Marcel and Eric “René” and also by two sisters: Rose-Ida and Beatrice.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, (857-1901), on Wednesday from noon until time of funeral service which will be celebrated from the chapel, on Wednesday, June 11th, 2014 at 2 pm. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton, NB. Donations to the Family would be appreciated. www.chartersville.com
