We the family regret to announce the passing of Theresa Marie King at the Glace Bay General on June 9, 2014, with her loving family at her side.
Born in Neil’s Harbour, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Minnie Rose.
She was employed with the Victoria Haven Nursing Home as a CCA for 14 years.
Surviving is her husband William King; three sons, Kenneth (Jolene) Rose, Claude (Leanne) King, George (Melissa) King and stepsons, John King, Billy King and Joey King; sisters, Nina Dixon (Gerard), Janet MacKinnon and Mildred Edwards; brothers, Henry (Laura) Rose, George (Shauna) Rose, Roland (Natalie) Rose, Ronald (Bea) Rose and Wallace (Debbie) Rose. She is also survived by grandchildren, Johnathan, Rylan, Tyler, Taylor, Nathan and Maddy.
She was predeceased by her brother Francis Rose.
Visitation for the late Theresa King will be Wednesday June 11, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union St., Glace Bay. Funeral service will take place Thursday, June 12 at 11 a.m. in Patten Funeral Home Chapel.
